Crete - the southernmost and largest of the Greek islands has "everything"! Its bountiful variety of features includes mountain villages, long sandy beaches, rocky bays, beach-bar-boogie & nightlife. Crete is divided into 4 provinces or more correctly prefectures, Chania, Rethymno, Heraklion and Lassithi. With the exception of Lassithi, the capital of each region has the same name, in Lassithi, the main town is Agios Nikolaos.
